Wheelchair Roundabout: Thanks to a grant by West Berkshire Council and the match funding, we have placed the order for the roundabout and this should be installed in March this year.

We hope to have the tender documents to builders in the coming weeks and planning approval for the minor amendments next month. If you would like to know more or get involved please do get in touch.

The IMPFT is committed to maintaining, and where possible, improving the facilities that remain free to Inkpen residents. This extends to improvements to the children's play equipment, especially for the under 5 year olds, and a new woodland walk.

These free services inevitably come at a cost to our charity, and in order to cover these costs we have to both seek out grants, and fund raise, with afternoon tea and cake events, car boot sales, jumble sales, open garden weekends and the like.

We have received a number of very generous donations which have helped us to be more adventurous in our renovation work. Whilst organised activities help us to cover most running costs, we could not improve our facilities without donations and fundraising. But we are still around £40,000 short of out target.

With your support we very much hope we will have a newly renovated sports pavilion in place by the end of this year.

A new schedule of activities is available on the events page. Weekend junior football coaching is now up and running, but we are still looking for takers for Walking Football - it's fun so why not give it a go.

Hard surface sports, and in particularly tennis, are taking on a new lease of life. And we hope soon, to have an Inkpen netball team using the facility.
